Popped in recently for a few frames of pool. Excellent prices and friendly staff. However, the quality of the pool tables is atrocious. Plastic/nylon type material instead of cloth (or the original cloth has been worn to the point where it is no longer present) with plenty of rips and dents with a slight but noticeable lean to one side of the table. The rails on the table we were assigned played like they’re made of elastic bands, causing an unnaturally quick ricochet. Plenty of space between the tables to play unhampered by others for the most part and decent lighting. I would definitely return but I would also hope the owner plans on refurbishing the pool tables at least to correct the cloth, rails and dents, as I would love to be able to update my rating to 5 stars. Didn’t play on the snooker tables but they appeared to be of beautiful quality and there must have been at least 12 of them. Overall, I enjoyed the experience but was slightly disappointed by the table quality.

VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE!! Free Hot Drinks machine. Very clean, especially the toilets. Cant wait to revisit. Parking is directly outside. Staff are easy to deal with. Easy 5 stars.

Played recently, the hall and snooker tables are in dire need of a facelift! many rests are either missing or broke! Holes all over the carpets and the snooker clothes need brushed and cleaned.

All new n refurbished pool tables n snooker tables well looked after. No 9 ball tables tho just red n yellow. Place serves food now n bingo hall still nextdoor. Sign up to be a member it's cheaper. £6 an hour but think it's £5 when member. Toilets, free parking n tuck shop upstairs. No alcohol a loud.

Westway pool and snooker is a tragic example of a old man's club. Their clear bias against younger players who want to use the facilities respectfully based off jumped up allegations and falsehoods. Many a time my friends and I have been lied to concerning rules of entry and availability of tables simply because we are not wanted there by the two rude male desk workers. The straw that broke the camels back in relation to me writing this review is when that burger made up reasons on the spot, that he himself was unsure of, in order to keep us out even though we just wanted a game 🙁 The one saving grace of westway is the lady at the front who is always kind-hearted and helpful unlike the workers, who as previously stated are absolute burgers for no reason. Would only go there as a last resort, tables aren't the best anyway. Blackstaff is better, go there instead.

Been going for 22 years good quality tables and generally easy enough to get a table at off peak times. Friday to Sunday 6pm onwards you would need to book.
